Being the uprising of the toughest obstacle course race in Brunei organized by D’Sunlit Sdn Bhd, The Alpha Challenge has been an open platform for anyone to experience their true nature of conquering our obstacles. Since its first series in 2017, more than 500 participants were eager to challenge their mind and body physically with impeccable strength, endurance and agility.
The Alpha Challenge accepts anyone who wishes to conquer their greatest fitness challenge and reach their breaking point in order to achieve a self-rewarding finish. Whether our Alphas conquer their challenges as a lone ranger or with a pack, they will grow to accept the importance of good Alpha sportsmanship and team spirit. We aim to be the national’s leading motivation towards a healthier and challenging journey for everyone.
If you would like to join the Alpha journey, then be ready to HUSTLE!
The first Alpha Challenge series was on the last day of year 2017, 31st December at Berakas Forest Reserve. More than 500 participants registered for their first time following two categories; a 2Km Fun Run which had 8 obstacles and a 5Km challenging obstacle course race.
The second edition was held on 25th November 2018 at the Royal Brunei Air Force base in Rimba in collaboration with the Royal Brunei Air Force. We aimed to reach 3,000 participants with an added attracting category which was the first ever 10Km obstacle course race. It was the start of new and advanced variations of obstacles.
With another collaboration with the Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAF), over 2,000 participants hungered for more obstacle challenges organized by D’Sunlit Sdn Bhd. This year was the first Beach edition Obstacle Course Race in Brunei which was taken place at Tungku Beach. This was to test our Alphas into tackling another level of fitness challenge with the change of environment setting.
We took the demands for another outdoor nature edition this year to the core, which is bringing back the Berakas Forest Reserve as our outdoor arena! We wanted our Alphas to battle against Brunei’s waves and forest as they set out their journey in not one but TWO races instead. The Legend of The Hunters series contained a virtual hike and the physical obstacle course race they had to conquer in order to achieve the Bi-Factor Medal.
